Alyson Stone
National Director for the HonorVet Corps

Alyson became involved in HonorVet in 2010 after being inspired by the organization’s clear, relevant mission and dedicated team.  Her interest in veterans’ causes stems from her father’s Army service in Vietnam, her grandfathers’ Army and Coast Guard service in WWII, as well as the military service of other friends and relatives.

Alyson utilized her experience as a supporter of charitable institutions to devise HonorVet’s Young Professionals program (the “Corps”).  HonorVet Corps will be an inclusive volunteer and donor organization, respectful of the time and resources of participants.  These regional groups are comprised of a local board, a fundraising committee and a recruitment squad.  All participation levels are designed with clear roles and expectations, largely set by the local membership group itself.

Alexandra Moore
Director of Marketing & PR

Alexandra became interested in HonorVet due in part to its innovative "holistic" and Web-centric approach. She believes that providing an array of capabilities, accessible anytime and anywhere via Web or mobile, is the best way to connect with and really helping our veterans though challenging times and ultimately to meaningful employment.

Beginning in High School Alexandra volunteered at an assisted living home for the elderly. Every week she would spend time visiting, reading, and helping those in need. Some of whom were veterans. Alexandra never forgot the passion and pride those veterans voiced for the country they so love and served.

Alexandra will be responsible for supporting HonorVet's marketing and outreach in collaboration with our PR and Advertising firms, coordinating with HonorVet management on the overall marketing budget, strategy and initiatives. Her focus is to raise the overall awareness of HonorVet while collaborating with other team members like our Public Safety team to provide the necessary marketing and advertising services for them to achieve success.

Alexandera is a recent graduate of Suffolk University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast journalism.
