HONORVET.ORG TO HOST INAUGURAL GALA IN NEWPORT BEACH WITH HONORED GUESTS

NEW YORK, NY – HonorVet.org, today announced its Inaugural Gala on Saturday, June 18at 7 p.m. PTat the Balboa Bay Club & Resort in Newport Beach, California with honored guests Senator John McCain and Louis Zamperini. Tickets are available at www.HonorVet.org.
HonorVet.org was founded by Jesse Canella and James McCain after they returned from active duty in the Al Anbar Province, Iraq. The organization is dedicated to providing essential resources and support to all veterans, service members and their families. Using Odeo’s award-winning technology platform, Honorvet.org acts as an interactive social networking community for all individuals who have served or who are currently serving in the armed forces.
HonorVet.org’s inaugural Gala will commence at 7 p. m. with a cocktail reception, dinner and program to follow beginning at 8 p.m. The Gala will feature a live feed to troops in Afghanistan, a silent auction, Marines in uniform and live music and dancing. Honored guests Senator John McCain, Cindy McCain, and Jake Rademacher, award-winning director and producer of “Brothers at War,” will be in attendance. HonorVet.org is also proud to host honored speaker Former Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission, Lieutenant Colonel Orson Swindle III, a USMC Retired Vietnam veteran and POW, and Commander James Marvin, USN Retired and Director of Operations-Navy SEAL Team 4. Honorvet.org will present Louis Zamperini, WWII veteran and POW, Olympian, and author of, “Devil at My Heels” with the first Annual HonorVet.org Award. Laura Hillenbrand’s “Unbroken,” a New York Times Best Seller was written about the life of Louis Zamperini
Ticket prices range from $300 for an individual ticket to $6,000 for a table of twelve. HonorVet.org is also offering a Founding Member ticket at $3,000 which grants the patron and one guest a seat at the Founder’s Table and a permanent listing on the organization’s website as a Founding Member of HonorVet.org. Corporations and individual benefactors nationwide are encouraged to purchase tables for service members to attend the event free-of-charge. Tickets are available at www.HonorVet.org.
