HARD ROCK NASHVILLE TO HOST “HONOR OUR VETS” SHOW TO SUPPORT RETURNING TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILES

NASHVILLE, Tennessee(January 11, 2012)– The Hard Rock Cafe announces today the “Honor Our Vets!” benefit show, which is being hosted to raise money and support for local military veterans and their families. The event is being produced in partnership with national veterans non-profit HonorVet.org, and will be held at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville on Sunday, January 15th, from 8:00pm until 12:00am.

“We are thrilled to be able to connect with the community and local veterans in Nashville,” said Jesse Canella, CEO and Co-founder of HonorVet.org, “we have some awesome musicians who are coming out to support this event and to help us raise money and awareness to support our mission.”

The concert, hosted by rocker Dav Mikals, will include rising country star Marlee Scott at 8pm, followed by Sharif Iman, Shawn Mayer (Nashville Star), and hard rockers Kris Bell and Matt “Lig” Knabe. Special appearances by surprise guest stars. Carl Michael, nationally famed Illusionist and Magician will also be performing for guests in attendance. The event is presented by HonorVet.org and Black Train 27.

Nationally acclaimed Illusionist, Carl Michael, said about the event, "I am delighted to be able to support HonorVet once again for their benefit show in Nashville.   Their mission to help Veterans and Military Families transition and thrive in civilian life will fill a critical need for those who have served and sacrificed so much for us.  I look forward to the show!"

Cost is $5 at the door and military personnel/veterans with appropriate ID will receive FREE passes courtesy of HonorVet.org. Tables for 5 can be reserved for $100 through Hard Rock Nashville. Proceeds from the show will to go to support HonorVet.org and their programs for returning veterans and their families.
